college male outdoors 3x4This year has taught us a lot about the “Father Heart” of God. On May 28th our nephew and nieces finally arrived in Omaha after being bounced around to 5 foster homes over the last 2 years. Our hearts for them have especially grown as we continue to talk through Ephesians 1 and how all God’s children are adopted into His family.

intl dinner 3x4On August 28th (the 3rd day of classes at UNO) a freshman named Jacob came up to our table at the Organization Fair and said, “I’ve been thinking about becoming more religious.” Jacob spent the next 30 minutes walking through the gospel with one of our staff and decided to put his faith in Jesus. He is very involved and growing in love for his Heavenly Father and his new brothers and sisters in Christ.

baby b ultrasound 3x4We got to spend November 23rd with 150 International Students from all over the world as they experienced a traditional American Thanksgiving dinner and heard the gospel from a few of their peers from China and Italy who are passionately following Jesus. What a privilege to tell these students about God’s fatherly heart toward them and invite them to become our brothers and sisters in Christ!

God has blessed our ministry this year, expanded our hearts for lost students, and He has definitely expanded the size of our family! Would you consider making a special, year end gift of $300, $200, $100 or some other amount? We are in need of $6,000 to cover the shortfall in our monthly budget created by our suddenly large family; we are also trusting God for $2,500 to go staff the Denver Christmas Conference for over 1,000 students this month.
