• The total market value of illicit human trafficking is estimated to be over $32 billion–more than Nike, Starbucks, and Google combined.
  • An estimated 600,000 to 800,000 children, women, and men are trafficked across international borders annually.
Campus Crusade is partnering with the International Justice Mission (IJM)–a human rights agency that secures justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. This year at DCC, students were given the opportunity to learn more about IJM and how they can make a difference in their communities and around the world.
What students said:
“Libby’s talk challenged me to start an IJM chapter on my campus.”
“I think the work IJM is doing is awesome. They travel around the world to liberate people. Knowing that so many people, especially children, are in bondage is horrific. There are still so many people who need to be set free.” – Travis, University of Nebraska
