During our last week in Italy we organized an outreach called “American Night.” We invited Italian students we had connected with throughout our time on campus. We served hamburgers, hot dogs, brownies, and played “Jeopardy” with the topics of American history, sports, pop culture, etc. The night ended with one of our students giving his testimony about how he came to know Jesus and how his life has changed by living for Christ. At one point during the night Shana (a member of our team) was at one table sharing the Gospel with Catarina. At another table Tom (also a member of our team) was sharing the gospel with Lorenzo. Students in Italy have had their eyes and hearts opened to what Christ can offer them. They have learned about a personal and loving God who has a wonderful plan for them. Lorenzo, Francesco, and Martina are students who continue to seek who God is. Students like Ramona, Giacomo, and Christian are believers who desire to take steps of faith to share Christ with friends and family. Please pray for the people of Siena, Italy, who desperately need to hear about having a personal relationship with Jesus. Pray also for the believers to grow in their faith and pass along the gift of Jesus to others.
