Nine women (and four staff) spent 24 hours together braiding hair, getting facials, enjoying paraffin hand waxes, and digging into God’s Word.  Our time focused on sharing life maps (aka life stories), setting healthy boundaries, rejecting the lie that performance is what God demands of us, and gaining a Biblical understanding of truth and grace from the example Jesus sets in John 8:1-11.
It was so encouraging to see these young women open up and freely discuss what it looks like to follow and model authentic Christ-like character in a world that encourages a façade.  These young women strongly desire to be a light for Christ on their campus and they are committed to growing in their walk with the Lord, as they boldly pursue non-believers with the love of Jesus.
