We have received word that the 33 miners in Northern Chile will receive a New Testament and “The Story of Jesus,” the audio/radio adaptation of the “JESUS” film on an MP3 player. (The “JESUS” film is a ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ) Some estimate that the men–trapped 2,300 feet (701 meters) underground since early August–may face separation from the outside world and their families until Christmas. Please pray they respond to the message of the gospel through hearing the Scriptures and listening to “The Story of Jesus.” Pray also for their families and those working to free them.
