Immediately after Lesego, a college student in Botswana, saw our film “My Last Day” online, she wanted to see it again. So she invited her two sisters and a few friends from school to watch the short film with her. Using dialogue from the original JESUS film, this animé-style film developed to help reach young people around the world portrays regret, repentance and redemption through the eyes of a criminal on the cross next to Jesus. Of the seven young people who watched with Lesego, two gave their lives to Christ.

The next day, Lesego asked her mother to view the film. “My Last Day” made such an impression on Lesego’s mom that she invited several friends to her home to see the short film and hear the gospel. A ministry team leader later said, “What we saw was amazing. The 17 mature ladies were as captivated by the film as the college students.” Six of the 17 women invited by Lesego’s mother gave their lives to Jesus. In the end, one student using technology and Jesus Film media played a role in winning eight people from different age groups to Christ.
