How We’re Growing

Getting to work 8am-4pm with the National Campus Ministry Operations Team has been challenging and rewarding. But this year is about more than work. We are also striving to process the last few years both with God and others, and commit intentional time to pressing into what the next chapter of ministry looks like.

Since arriving in Orlando we have walked through the Strengths Finder, Core Clarity, and Birkman assessments together; we are meeting with personal ministry coaches; we open up our lives at small group; we are doing an 8 week marriage counseling program. All of this to better understand who we are, what God has been doing in our lives the last few years, and how God wants to us to invest in the Great Commission as a family on mission for the next 5 years.

We definitely feel like we are trusting God for growth that we can’t just manufacture out of our own strength. So as hard as it feels, we are thankful that God’s main lesson to us so far has been humility.  🙂
