Since May, when I was able to quit my part time job, Lee and I have been spending a lot of time together. We enjoy working together, but we are not immune (as missionaries) from being selfish, impatient, and rude towards one another. God is continually teaching and giving us opportunities to extend grace and die to ourselves. Marriage has revealed our selfishness, but working together has stepped it up a notch. We are reminded how patient God is with us everyday, all the time.  Lee and I are learning what it means to be “clothed in patience” (Col. 3:12). Serving a patient God has taken on a whole new meaning and aspiration to become more Christ-like.
